THE BRIGHTEST STAR in the Cave Shepherd All Stars Calypso Tent firmament when it pitched on Saturday night was arguably Ronnie De Announcer Clarke.
With three encores, two for Vote and one for Bashment Soca, he had the large audience in the Ann Johnson Auditorium at St Gabriel’s School singing, laughing, clapping and enjoying themselves.
However, it was during Vote that he unleashed some serious lyrics and biting commentary about the goings-on in the political sphere, while urging voters to speak with their Xs in the next election. (GBM)
