Another student charged in May 17 beating

A FOURTH PERSON has been charged in connection with an attack on a student of The Lester Vaughan School which was shared on social media.

A 13-year-old female appeared before Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District “D’ Magistrates Court on Monday, charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

She was granted bail to reappear in court on June 1 after pleading not guilty.

The other students who were previously charged also reappeared before Weekes on Monday and are all scheduled to return on Thursday.

The 16-year-old female who was remanded to prison on her first appearance was granted bail, the 15-year-old girl who previously pleaded not guilty, changed her plea to guilty and the 14-year-old male was granted bail.

The charges stem from the May 17 incident in which in Lester Vaughn Secondary School student was chased and kicked about the body. (PR/SAT)
