Ultimate praise and worship

ONE OF THE MAIN EVENTS on the Gospelfest calendar brought thousands to their feet on Saturday night.

During the four-hour Sol Ultimate Gospel show at Kensington Oval, hundreds abandoned their chairs when international artistes Jonathan Nelson and Charles Jenkins took to the stage for their praise and worship session.

Jenkins climaxed the evening and not even driving rain stopped the rejoicing of those who crowded the new mobile stage.

Jenkins moved from his hip-hop style, abandoned his cap and thoroughly uplifted the crowd with his moving My God Is Awesome. (KB)
