Man facing firearm, ammunition charges

POLICE HAVE ARRESTED and charged a 42-year-old man with unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful possession of 16 rounds of ammunition.

Roger Ricardo Hutson of #115 Welches Terrace, St Thomas, allegedly committed both offences on Monday, May 22.

The police executed a search warrant at Hutson’s residence where the firearm and ammunition were discovered.

He was subsequently charged and appeared before Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District ‘D’ Magistrates Court, where he was remanded into custody and will reappear in court on July 4. (PR)
