BARBADIAN SPORTS PSYCHOLOGIST Dr Rudi Webster has been honoured by the St George’s University in Grenada.

Webster, West Indies team manager in the Kerry Packer days in the 1970s, was presented with the university’s distinguished Service Medal for commitment to the advancement of cricket in the international community and to the university in establishing the Shell Cricket Academy during a commencement ceremony last Saturday.

“My greatest achievement in sports was the setting up of the Shell Cricket Academy at St George’s University,” Webster told the audience during the ceremony.

“To you graduates, all that you have achieved so far shows what you have learned and what you have done. However, it does not reflect what you can learn, and what you can become. That should be your focus now.”
