FAVOURITES LORD will clash with BRC in the first semi-final of the inaugural Barbados Cricket Association’s Shield Twenty20 Competition at Kensington Oval on Sunday at 10 a.m.

The Clements, St Lucy-based Lords have been boosted this season by the presence of former Barbados One-Day and T20 selectee Khalid Springer, his brother Kemar Stanford and former St Catherine all-rounder Joel Leacock.

Top-order batsman Mario Boyce, who has played Elite cricket for the Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme and Maple, has also rejoined Lords.

They will be up against the Content, St Thomas-based BRC side, which includes two players, former Barbados Under-19 all-rounder Adrian Maynard and wicketkeeper/batsman Anthony Rollins, who have the experience of playing in the BCA’s top flight division as well. (EZS)
