17-year-old remanded on gun, ammunition charges

A ST GEORGE teenager has been remanded to prison on firearm and ammunition charges.

Kadeem Obrien Clarke of Johnson Road, Workmans was arrested in the wee hours of Sunday morning during a party at Pirates Cove, Bay Street, St Michael.

Police say Clarke was stopped and searched by security guards and a firearm and ammunition were found. 

The matter was reported to the police and the teen was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.

Clarke appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant in the District “A”Magistrates’ Court yesterday and will reappear on June 8. (PR/NB)
