GOVERNOR GENERAL of New Zealand, Dame Patsy Reddy, is looking forward to keen cricket when the West Indies team tour New Zealand in November.

“At the moment it’s very exciting. I was not aware of it, and it was pointed out to me that the Test series between our two nations are drawn, with each having won the same number, so this series will be a decider as to who will have the upper hand. We’re looking forward to a very good contest,” she said during her first tour of Kensington Oval and Barbados, yesterday.

The last time West Indies toured New Zealand was in 2013 when New Zealand won the Test series 2-1.

Also touring the facility with her, was her husband, David Gascoigne and High Commissioner Jan Henderson. (RA)
