PROPRIETOR Charley Dume died as a result of organ failure and haemorrhagic shock secondary to multiple gunshot wounds.
That was the testimony from consultant pathologist Dr Corinthia Dupuis in the No. 2 Supreme Court yesterday, as the trial of Ryan Samuel, 38, of Grape Hall, St Lucy, continued before Justice Randall Worrell.
Samuel is accused of the shooting death of Dume on April 26, 2014, at the Coyote’s Den, Nelson and Wellington Streets, The City.
The pathologist said she discovered seven gunshot wounds which appeared to be entry wounds, and five which appeared to be exit wounds during a post mortem on May 2, 2014. (RA)
