Springer targets 200m track

SPRINGER MEMORIAL SCHOOL are moving to make their dream of having their very own five-lane 200-metre track a reality.

And they have launched a drive to raise the $240 000 needed.

This was revealed by teacher and public relations officer of the project, Ian iWeb Webster, yesterday during a press conference to launch the Springer On Track project at the school.

In addition to the track, the project will focus on six other components: archery, a resource room, agricultural science, cosmetology, physical education, and entrepreneurship.
