DIEGO “SPANKEY” BARTON recently got a new pair of shoes for his 4 x 4 mud jeep, and he has the Campbell Racing Team (CRT) to thank for them.
Spankey, as he is fondly referred to in the motorsport world, is a part of the Mud Dogs off-road racing group and was nominated as the first recipient of the Rally Around a Youth (#RAY) project in February. The project was created by Justin Campbell, Team Rock Hard Cement’s newest driver, and his team.
As a result of his own journey, Campbell, who has always had a passion for all things motorsport, expressed an interest in giving back and helping young competitors realise their true potential.
Along with his brother Russell, he created the CRT brand, and used the proceeds from sale of the apparel line to purchase Spankey four new tyres for his mud jeep. (RA)
