BRIDGETOWN – West Indies, after trailing by 81 runs on first innings, were 197 for four off 70 overs in their second innings at tea on the fourth day of the second cricket Test against Pakistan in the Brighto Paints Q Mobile Cup series at Kensington Oval here Wednesday.
The not out batsmen are Shai Hope on 68 and Vishaul Singh on 18.
The pair has so far added 42 runs for the fifth wicket, pushing the West Indies to an overall lead of 116 runs with six wickets in hand.
Resuming from 112 for three at lunch, the West Indies lost the wicket of first innings century maker Roston Chase for 23 during the two-hour session while scoring 85 runs.
After posting 58 runs for the fourth wicket with Hope, Chase, driving, gave leg-spinner Yasir Shah a regulation return catch.
Shah, who also dismissed Kraigg Brathwaite for 43 in the pre-lunch session, has been Pakistan’s most successful bowler with two wickets for 69 in 27 overs.
