Urban Vybz St John’s Sonics are hitting on all cylinders now, using a decisive 39-11 run in the second half to down Hilton Barbados Warriors 86-79 on Saturday in the Co-operators General Insurance Basketball Premier League at the Barbados Community College.
It was the fifth win in as many games for the big pre-season favourites, who initially failed to live up to that off-season hype while stumbling to a mediocre 4-3 record.
Yet they looked flat again while giving up one dunk after another in Warriors’ lead-changing 15-6 start to the third quarter.
