No quick fix, ‘look to Jesus’

BARBADIANS MUST NOT put their faith blindly in quick fix remedies to cure their ailments, but should focus also on their spiritual needs.

This was the theme of the message delivered by Reverend Halcourt Bovell as he addressed the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) during their annual Good Friday Sunrise Service yesterday.

Listing medication or home remedies such as vicks, “snuff”, “dog dumpling”, moringa and drugs, he also said that even though these had been used to cure ailments over the years, Jesus was the one that remained constant. (TG)
