A LAWYER asked the District “A” Magistrates’ Court yesterday to make his client carry a counterfeit pen as one of his bail conditions.
This was the request of Mohia Ma’at when he made a bail application for John Nathaniel Bancroft, 42, of Odessa McClean Drive, St Michael.
On March 16, Bancroft was remanded to prison after appearing on the charge that on March 13, without lawful authority or excuse, he had two forged bank notes for US$50 purporting to be genuine US currency notes issued by the Federal Reserve Bank, knowing the same to be forged.
He was not required to plead. (TKS)
