REPEAT DRUG OFFENDER Kevin Antonio McConney must pay another fine for his habit.

The 35-year-old chef admitted that he had a small amount of marijuana and was fined $600 by Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the Criminal Court No.1 last week. He has three months to pay up or spend three months in jail.

McConney, of Bedford Lane, Roebuck Street, St Michael, asked the court not to send him to prison despite his many convictions for drugs, the last of which he also paid a similar fine.

He told the magistrate that he was not “able to take” prison at this point, in addition to which it was approaching his busy work time. (AC)
