We don’t scout

ST MICHAEL SCHOOL does not go scouting for talent.

Long-serving coach Gabriel Burnett has dismissed suggestions that
newly crowned Barbados Secondary Schools’ Athletic Championships (BSSAC) boys’ champions seek out talent from other secondary schools.

His comments come against the background of the high number of student athlete transfers they accept.

“There is word out there that we go out and recruit, but St Michael does not recruit, St Michael does not do any sort of recruiting,” he told WEEKENDSPORT. (RG)
