St Michael, Foundation BSSAC 2017 champions

THE ST MICHAEL School created history by winning the boys’ title for the first while Christ Church Foundation repeated as girls’ queens at the 2017 PowerAde Barbados Secondary Schools Athletics Championships (BSSAC) at the National Stadium today.

St Michael amassed 313 points while Harrison College were second on 259.50 points with Christ Church Foundation third on 196.50 among the boys.

Foundation won their second straight girls’ crown with 332 points, well clear of former queens, Scotiabank Springer Memorial (264.53). Harrison College (221.83) just edged The St Michael School (221.33) for third place among the girls.

Harrison College’s Aren Spencer was the victor ludorum with 38 points while Alleyne’s Brieanna Boyce was the victrix ludorum, also gaining 38 points.

St Michael School were also named the best team on parade.
