THE BUILDING which housed the ill-fated Campus Trendz store has now been reduced to mainly rubble.
From around 6 a.m. on Sunday workmen have been using a backhoe to bring the structure down at Tudor Street, Bridgtown.
In September 2010, six young women lost their lives after robbers threw an explosive device into the building and it went up in flames.
Some pedestrians stopped to take pictures and some vehicles also slowed to witness the destruction.
One man who was identified as the owner of the building refused to comment on the exercise. (TG)
