AFTER LOSING the title last year, the girls of Christ Church Foundation came harder and better this year to reclaim the title in the Esther Maynard Zone of the Powerade Barbados Secondary Schools’ Athletic Championships.
The lasses from the south dominated in both the track and field events to amass 479 points, ahead of defending champions Springer Memorial’s 440.
Sarah Belle blazed the trail in the Under-17 Girls’ 300-metres hurdles to help her team secure victory. (RA)
