More variety in Senior Games

EIGHT sports have been added to this year’s National Senior Games line-up.

This was disclosed yesterday by Rawle Clarke, a member of the organising committee, at the Ministry of Social Care, Constituency Empowerment and Community Development’s media launch of the event at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex.

The sports to be featured for the first time are archery, basketball, cycling, dominoes, road tennis, tennis and table tennis.

Netball has also been reintroduced and the road race is on the programme once again, utilising a new route on Sunday, May 28. (RG)
