Bush Hall woman on drug charges gets bail

A ST MICHAEL woman was granted $2 500 bail with one surety after she pleaded not guilty to four drug offences in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today.

Thirty-six-year-old Rochelle Diana Gill of Accommodation Road, Bank Hall was arrested yesterday after collecting a barrel at Freight Handling Services Freightliner, Brighton, St Michael.

According to police, during a search of the barrel by Customs officials, cannabis was found in 11 cans labelled peas and beans.

Gill appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick charged with possession of cannabis, trafficking, possession with intent to supply and importation.

She will return to court on June 25. (PR/NB)
