Former bloodhound cop and an ace marksman, Ashford Athelbert “Rap Brown” Jones, has been charged with having 100 bullets without a permit.

The 72-year-old of Goodland, Christ Church is expected in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning to answer the charge.

Police are alleging that their former colleague was caught with the ammunition on October 13 when the Anti-gun and Gangs Unit intercepted his car at Grazettes Main Road, St Michael and found one hundred rounds of .40 ammunition.

Jones was regarded as one of the most feared crime-fighters during his years in the Royal Barbados Police Force. (PR/AC)
