POLICE INVESTIGATIONS are continuing into an incident which resulted in a man being shot in Station Hill, St Michael yesterday afternoon.
According to police, they responded to a report of gunshots being fired behind the old Glendiary Prison after 1 p.m.
Details are sketchy, but officers encountered a man who had a firearm and he suffered a gunshot injury.
The man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment, while police recovered the firearm and ammunition. (PR/SAT)
