All eyes on Dorsett for 2017

DORSETT IS THE one horse that the eleven others will be eyeing when the gates fly today in the 36th edition of the Caribbean’s major racing spectacle.

This seven-year-old bay horse, which is owned by Trinidadian father and son pair of Steve and Allan Madoo, immediately struck it big in his first outing on local soil.

With the bar set at a very high level, the Robert Peirce trained animal has struggled to live up to expectations after his grand entry. His form guide will show that in Barbados he has one win in six starts after conquering his opposition in last year’s Sandy Lane Barbados Gold Cup.
