HARTLEY REID Reid has resigned as chairman of the Barbados Cricket Association’s (BCA) women’s committee, citing irreconcilable differences with the women’s coach.

The 64-year-old retired police inspector confirmed this in a short telephone interview yesterday with the MIDWEEK SPORT.

“I have submitted my resignation, but the board has not met on the issue to date,” he said. “I submitted it earlier [last] month to take immediate effect.”

When pressed as to the reason why he tendered his resignation, he said it was due to differences between him and Barbados women’s coach Ezra Moseley, a former Test fast bowler. (RA/MK)
