THE TWO MEN CHARGED in connection with a shooting death in Sargeants Village were both remanded to HMP Dodds when they appeared in District A Magistrates Court earlier today.
Kamar Glenville Stoute, 28, of Block 3E, Bottom Close, Wildey, St Michael, and 26-year-old Livardo Rogelio Hinds of Durant’s, Lodge Road, Christ Church, were not required to plead to the capital offence of murder before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant.
They are scheduled to return to court on March 28, charged with killing Michael Omar Edwards on February 2 at his home in Bartletts Tenantry, Christ Church.
Stoute is expected to return on the same day on separate charges of unlawful possession of cannabis and apparatus.
Hinds (left) will reappear on March 22. He has been charged with assisting Akeil Grant of no fixed place of abode, and Akeem Mason of Blades Hill #2, St Philip, in the last May’s killing of Michael Mapp.
The body of the former Blades Hill resident was discovered in a shallow grave at Fortesque.
Meanwhile, 26-year-old Ashley Danica Anita Jones (below) of Birch Path, Regent Hill, Pinelands, St Michael was also remanded.
She was charged with perverting the course of justice in relation to Hinds, who was the subject of a wanted man notice in September last year. He was captured last Friday. (SAT)
