GOVERNOR OF THE Central Bank Dr DeLisle Worrell has been successful in his attempt to deliberately frustrate Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler, says political scientist Peter Wickham.

Following yesterday’s ruling by the High Court to grant the embattled Governor a six-day injunction, Wickham, who is director of the Caribbean Development Research Services (CADRES), said he believed Worrell had achieved his goal.

“The power of the Minister of Finance to dismiss the Governor is not in question. However, Sinckler erred in his approach and just has to find a way to do it properly,” Wickham insisted.
