Two injured in accident at Searles

TWO MORE PEOPLE were injured on Barbadian roads on Saturday.

Police are conducting investigation into an accident which occurred around 6:25 p.m. on Searles Road, at the junction with Lead Vale, Christ Church.

It involved a motor van driven by Melinda Christian 41, of Bird Eye Ridge, St Patricks, Christ Church and a car driven by 42-year-old Rawle Cumberbatch of Fordes Road, Upper Clapham, Christ Church.

Christian complained for pain to the chest, while Cumberbatch complained for pain to the head and received a laceration to the forehead. Both were transported the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for medical treatment.

Eight people were also injured in an accident at Constant, St George. (PR/SAT)
