Griffith: Planned Parenthood will survive

THE PLANNED PARENTHOOD FEDERATION, family planning and reproductive health and rights movements across the world will continue to survive.

That is the view of George Griffith, the longest serving executive member of the Barbados Family Planning Association (BFPA), who was responding to the move by United States President Donald Trump to cut funding for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, which is an affiliate of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).

Griffith said Trump’s decision did not come as a surprise. (YB)
