Man shot in Bayville

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A shooting which left 28-year-old MacGyver Hepburn with gunshot injury to his right thigh.

The incident occurred around 10 last night at the junction of Bayview Avenue and Watermill Place, Bayville, St Michael.

Police say Hepburn who is a resident of the area was in the company of other people when a white Toyota car pulled up. Three armed men exited the car shot Hepburn during the course of a robbery.

Hepburn was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.
