AS THE SUN sets on Dr Andrew Forde’s tenure as president of the Barbados Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (BABFF), he is not about to throw in the towel on service. 

While he will not be seeking re-election for the top spot he has held for the past ten years, he will still be available to assist and lend support where necessary, and when called upon. 

“There isn’t really a lot left for me to achieve in the sport locally. I believe that I came into the sport such a long time ago, and there are many younger people with ideas that need to be exposed and encouraged,” Forde told NATIONSPORT.

 “Certainly, I don’t think the sport needs to go back to outdated and fatigued individuals who have had a chance to run it before, because the sport has gone so much further in the time that I have been involved. (RA)
