Are you where you’ve always wanted to be?
I am extremely happy with the progress I have made. So with that being said, yes, I am where I want to be.
What is your biggest professional challenge?
The lack of funding, followed by my ability to work efficiently with my stakeholders.
What is your biggest life challenge?
Earning enough to secure a home and provide for a family and their future.
When you look to the future, what do you see?
I see myself conquering all the challenges that will come my way and learning from the mistakes I made. At the same time, I want to build Mayu Projects into a locally and internationally recognised digital media and marketing company.
What is your favourite pastime?
Relaxing at the beach.
What is your favourite meal?
Roasted breadfruit.
On Saturday nights, where are you likely to be?
Out socialising with friends.
What upsets you the most?
The lack of punctuality.
What is your guiding philosophy?
Don’t be embarrassed by your failures. Learn from them and start again, or move on if you think you have given it your best effort.
If you had the chance to manage Barbados for a day, what would you do?
I would try to get Barbadians to buy more locally grown foods and manufactured products. (SC)
