PIG FARMERS say locally manufactured feed is making their piglets sick and stunting growth.
As a result, they have urged their association, the Barbados Association of Pig Farmers, and the farming sector’s umbrella body – the Barbados Agricultural Society – to take the fight to the manufacturer of Pinnacle Feeds.
When contacted, chief executive officer of Roberts Manufacturing, Jason Sambrano, said the issue had not been brought to his attention.
“This matter hasn’t been brought to my attention so I would have to liaise with the BAS and get further feedback on the matter. I haven’t seen anything formal from them,” he told the SUNDAY SUN. (HLE)
