Dire need for private sector help

“UNLESS the private sector has a major change in their philosophy, I don’t see them coming forward to support the sporting fraternity.” 

This view was expressed by Barbados Olympic Association (BOA) president Steve Stoute. 

“From the BOA’s perspective, we have been, for a number of years, trying to construct an indoor training facility, for which we have been seeking private sector support in help to construct that, and we have not been successful. 

“Where I sit, I can only say that the private sector in Barbados does not see the provision of sporting facilitates as part of their mandate. This has been so for quite a number of years,” he explained during an interview with  SUNSPORT(RA)
