NOTHING BUT good wishes for Barbados.
That’s the hope of Barbadians and visitors who also said that both individuals and the Government had a role to play in realising the wishes.
During a New Year’s beach round-up by the DAILY NATION yesterday at the popular Folkstone, St James, and Brandons Beach in St Michael, picnickers urged family unity and the better treatment of tourists.
Canadian nutritionist Josee Marcoux, who now lives in St Philip, was at Folkesone Marine Park with her family. She admitted that she enjoyed living in Barbados more than anywhere else, but wanted the Grantley Adams International Airport (GAIA) to up the ante on the treatment of visitors. (MR)
