THE COUNTDOWN to 2017 is on, and men and women are making preparations to look their best on Old Year’s Night.

Many women were spotted in hair and nail salons yesterday, getting all glammed up for the occasion.

A Nation team caught up with some of the cosmetologists, who were kept busy all day.

Judy Boyce, the owner of Kenju’s Hair and Nail Salon in Pandora’s Plaza, High Street, The City, who is also a nail technician, said she started work at 7 a.m. yesterday after leaving at 1 a.m. earlier the same day.

“We have been having a constant flow of people the entire day,” she said. (SB)
