THE BARBADOS WATER Authority (BWA) wishes to inform its valued customers that as a precautionary measure, it will be reactivating some of the community tanks in the parishes of St Peter, St Andrew, St Lucy, St John and St Joseph.
This is to ensure water availability in the event that any unforeseen service disruptions occur over the Christmas holiday.
Water tankers will also be dispatched to give assistance should the need arise.
In addition, the BWA is advising customers to store an adequate supply of water should work crews need to carry out emergency repairs on its network.
The BWA will continue efforts to ensure a continuous water supply to all and thanks all of its customers for their patience and understanding during the year and takes this opportunity to wish everyone God’s blessings this holiday season. (PR)
