HUNDREDS OF JETBLUE passengers trying to leave Barbados for various parts of the United States were crying out in anger on Sunday after their flights were cancelled and rescheduled several times between Friday and Saturday.

A frustrated Jamie Crosby, who was supposed to leave on Saturday night, was sitting at the airport waiting. He told the DAILY NATION he did not know when he would leave the island or where he was staying for the night.

“It got cancelled; I was supposed to fly out this morning and it got cancelled again. No one has been really helpful at all. No one is saying very much at this time. I will just sit here and wait,” he said on Sunday.

Crosby, who was returning to Maryland after his first trip to Barbados, said he enjoyed his week-long trip where he came for a surfing event. (LK)
