Bajan wins eighth fight

COBIA “Soldier” Breedy has won his eighth battle in the ring.

And Barbados Boxing Association secretary Kathy-Harper Hall told NATION SPORT the association is extremely pleased with his accomplishments.

“He has certainly been one of our most outstanding amateurs and he has been doing exceptionally well as a pro. We are very proud of his achievements as a professional,” she said.

The 25-year-old Barbadian-born professional boxer, who now resides in the United States, defeated Nick Rodriguez on Saturday night at the ABC Complex in Springfield, Virginia, boxing his way to his eighth win. (RG)
