A ‘learning’ experience

NO MEDALS to show but there was much to gain from the experience.

That was the take of the swimmers and the officials who attended the World Short Course Championships in Canada.

Danielle Titus set a new national age-group record of 30.86 seconds in the 50 metres backstroke, breaking her previous mark of 30.91 seconds.

“It was different since it was more countries, more people and it wasn’t in age groups but it was a great first experience and I intend to keep going to these meets and get used to them because I want to go to the Olympics in 2020,” she said.  (AT)
