ALTERNATIVE TIMETABLES and temporary locations must be priority in the Combermere School saga at this stage.
So says president of the Barbados National Council of Parent-Teacher Associations (BNPCTA), Shone Gibbs, who told the DAILY NATION yesterday that with four days left in this term, too much time had been lost.
He made the call on the same day several parents of students held a meeting to vent their frustrations.
After three weeks of being away from school because of its closure over environmental issues, which were causing staff and students to fall ill, sixth and fifth form students resumed classes last week at the Erdiston Teachers’ Training College and the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic, respectively.
