CHRIST CHURCH FOUNDATION have enjoyed an outstanding year in sport and yesterday the school’s cricketers gave them even more to celebrate.
D’s Mega Styles Foundation captured the Barbados Cricket Association’s schools’ title after outplaying St Leonard’s in a three-day final that ended in a draw at the St Catherine Club, Bayfield.
Having dismissed St Leonard’s for a modest 65 on the opening day, Foundation were in cruise control for the rest of the match, scoring 227 before limiting St Leonard’s to 122 for eight in their second turn at the crease.
