Tourney to boost youth

THE second instalment of the Under-17 National Junior Football tournament is set to kick off in two weeks’ time, and will attract as many as 30 teams. 

The tournament will be played over a period of two months – from December 11 to January 21 2017. 

The 30 teams will be divided into five zones comprising six teams who will participate in a league tournament. 

This was revealed by Minister of Sport Stephen Lashley at a press conference at his Haggatt Hall conference room yesterday. (RA)
