Route for Independence Parade

THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY Independence Parade will take place at Kensington Oval from 6 p.m. this evening.

After the parade at the oval, the troops will march along Fontabelle, past St Mary’s Church and along Broad Street before stopping at the Parliament Buildings where Prime Minister Freundel Stuart will take the salute.

They will then continue to Independence Square where the armed units will disperse. The unarmed units will disperse at the Probyn Street Fire Station. (NB)
