FAIL TO PREPARE and prepare to fail.
That’s what Opposition Leader Mia Mottleysays she believes happened on Tuesday as the country was swamped by flooding.
This failure, she said, was the result of Government cuts to the Drainage Division and the National Environment Enhancement Programme.
Following visits to several Christ Church andSt Michael areas, Mottley told the DAILY NATION yesterday while what occurred on Tuesday was anact of God, the lack of maintenance to essential pump houses was what exacerbated the problem. (AD)
