THE 58 CHILDREN of Nightingale Children’s Village had several reasons to celebrate yesterday.
Despite torrential rains affecting the island, members of that children’s home were delighted to be in the presence of Prince Harry.
As part of his visit for the 50th anniversary of Independence celebrations, the prince spent more than two hours mingling with the children.
From his arrival through the doors of Carole’s Cottage, the prince was fully involved as he had a brief introduction with members of the staff. (AD)
