THE UWI SEISMIC RESEARCH CENTRE in Trinidad and Tobago recorded a tremor off the southwest coast of Barbados early this morning.
Around 12 minutes past midnight, the centre’s equipment recorded a 4.2 magnitude tremor at 12.82N and 59.82W at a depth of 16 km.
It was approximately 39km to the southwest of capital city Bridgetown and some 161km east southeast of Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
