Principal cracking down on tardiness

FRUSTRATED BY the tardy behaviour being adopted by some of his students, Coleridge & Parry principal Vincent Fergusson has given them an ultimatum.

Be early for school, or face the consequences.

And yesterday, 40 students from the Ashton Hall, St Peter school found out just how serious Fergusson was when they arrived for classes after 10 a.m. – one and a half hours after the stipulated 8:30 a.m. start of school.

However, Fergusson disputed this, saying they had been invited inside but had chosen to remain outside. (RB)
