POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING a deadly shooting early this morning in Black Rock, St Michael.

A 33-year old man was fatally wounded while a 20-year-old and a 31-year old were also shot and are being treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Police spokesman acting inspector Roland Cobbler said the multiple shootings occurred at a fete at St Stephen’s Hill, Black Rock for which there was no police permission.

Witnesses said the fete was in full swing when gunshots rang out about 2 a.m. and party-goers were sent scampering.

When the injured were discovered, they were transported in a private vehicle to the hospital, but the oldest did not survive. (AC)
